And at the same time, the XP20 group continues. It is still small, 4 active members plus 1 member who communicates through icons only. But we do make ‘communal works’ and we do work on shared themes.
It’s an interesting process. In this case, Mouhcine made a collage on his computer in Morocco, He sent me the file and I had it printed on 90 x 90 canvas, using the famous JFX200.
Then it hung in my studio for while and I wondered what a tree line behind the woman’s head would do. I had just taken a walk in the province with my wife and two friends. We say a beautiful lake and I took a few photographs. So I painted that tree line in the top part of the work.
Next week I will send this work to Stas in Ukraine, who will add some of his things. So this is really a communal work. Slow painting…
