I was away on a holiday weekend with my wife Anneke. After bicycling all day, we were in our hotel room and Anneke was watching TV.
I decided that I would make one drawing every day. That evening I made three.
I don’t know. I’m not sure it’s any good. But I guess that’s art for you: not knowing if your work is any good. That is supposed to be part of it, right?
And what are they doing? Are they floating? Drifting? Are they fleeing? Are they swimming? Is there something horrible hunting them without them even knowing? Or do they know full well? I don’t know. I don’t think I even want to know…
